Supplements Women Should Be Taking-Flatten Belly

I find knowledge to be so empowering, especially knowledge about our health. I have said this many times before but, the Lord has given us resources to keep our bodies healthy in this lifetime. It is not an accident that he created vitamins which just happen to have health benefits for us. Even if you look back at the story of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego they requested the healthy foods to eat instead of the rich fatty foods. They were blessed and grew stronger. Granted there was a lot of faith in there too, which is why we need both. Here are supplements that women over 40 should be taking every day! I am sure women under 40 could take these too, depending on where they are at in their life, pregnant etc.

1.Take a multi-vitamin everyday! Make sure to look for vitamins B, E, C, and Zinc in the ingredients list. We should all try to eat healthy but even our fruits and veggies do not have as many vitamins in them as they used to. Due to how we farm and the pollutants in the air no doubt. So make sure to get the amount of vitamins you need everyday. A vitamin will help fight breast cancer, heart disease and colon cancer. I know my grandmother died of colon cancer and so many people do! It is sad when this is completely preventable. Also a plug for a colonoscopy! They are harmless and take not time at all to go in there, get rid of the polyps and prevent cancer from even starting.

2.We all want to stay strong as we get older, keep our own teeth too. There is a way to help with both of these things besides weight lifting and brushing our teeth. We need calcium! However make sure to take magnesium with your calcium as I have mentioned before. Take 600mg of calcium with 400mg of magnesium. The magnesium counteracts the calcium so you won’t get constipated. Take with a full glass of water within 2 hours of taking other pills. Calcium of course helps with your bones, teeth and muscles.

3. Vitamin D! This vitamin helps prevent diabetes and breast cancer. Most people don’t live in an area were the sun is out all year round. I used to live in a state like that. No wonder people get so sad in the winter! V-D helps you feel happy as well as healthy. It is so important to get this vitamin in you, especially in the winter months. Take 1000 IU at breakfast with milk or yogurt. It also helps absorb calcium and helps your muscles.

4. Last but not least is the ever popular fish oil! Fish oils contain Omega 3 which lowers risk of heart attack and breast cancer. It also helps in brain and heart function. I know sometimes these pills smell funny or give you bad breath but there are a lot of new pills out there that do not give you a bad after taste! So, go get ‘em!

To top that off, I have a few supplements that can help with that unwanted belly fat! I know I might get my hands on these in a few months. Here is a list. They are fairly cheap and must be used in conjuncture with good eating and exercise, of course.

  • Grape Seed Extract
  • Forskolin
